Back story

JAB Jewellers has established itself over the last 25 years as Geelong’s home of custom made and designed jewellery. Founder, John Baker is one of the most experienced jewellers in Australia with close to 40 years in the industry.

Today, both owners, John and Nicki are manufacturing jewellers with qualifications in diamond grading, gemmology and diamond technology and with a combined 51 years’ experience in the jewellery industry. Since 1991, JAB Jewellers have made thousands of engagement rings, wedding rings, pendants, necklaces, earrings and more, proving it to be the jewellers of choice for the residents of Geelong.

JAB Jewellers manufactures nearly all of its work in-house with an experienced team, a modern workshop and without the “brand” mark-up, providing the highest quality pieces at exceptional value prices. Jab Jewellers is a small family business offering genuine service and honest advice to all customers.

JAB Jewellers has embraced CAD software and CAM technology (3D printing, milling, lasers, etc.) as another tool in creating jewellery. The team of skilled craftsmen and artisans create highly detailed jewellery with the precision and accuracy that cannot be achieved by hand, yet never losing the inspiration that inspires the creation of unique pieces to last a lifetime.

JAB Jewellers has won awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd apprentices as well as Apprentice of the Year in Jewellery Making in 1983.

• John, Nicole and the team at JAB Jewellers are all master-craftsman. They obviously love what they do and they are brilliant at it!! I was anxious about the whole process not knowing if I was doing the right thing, dismantling my grandmothers (very old) wedding and engagement ring and my own, to combine the old and the new into two more modern rings. I had some ideas but was unsure whether it would work. Nicole guided me through the entire process, kept me informed, called me in at different stages and then magically designed and crafted the most beautiful, amazing rings (x2) for me.
