Townsend Jewellers is a family owned business serving the Adelaide Hills for over 18 years. Chris Townsend is a Diamond Grader with 37 years’ experience in the jewellery industry, and together with his staff, offers Mount Barker and the wider community a designer jewellery retail experience with integrity and quality customer service.

Designer jewellery

As well as stocking the latest range of designer jewellery, Townsend Jewellers specialise in custom made jewellery and can create a one of a kind piece of the highest quality that is unique to each customer.

Townsend Jewellers offers a custom design service where customers are supported to design their own unique ring, such as an engagement or wedding ring, dress ring, fashion ring or mother’s ring. Using a step-by-step process (also available online) that identifies type of ring, budget, choice of metal (i.e. platinum, white/rose/yellow gold), stone shapes (type and quality) and time frame for purchase, Townsend Jewellers work together with each customer to create their own new treasure.

Diamonds hand selected in Antwerp for you

Chris Townsend is a certified Antwerp Diamond Broker and travels to Antwerp, Belgium periodically to buy diamonds directly from the major diamond houses in the world. This enables Chris to act as his customer’s “personal broker” and buy diamonds with significant savings on retail prices. Customers can be assured the diamonds are conflict free and represent excellent value and quality.

Remodelling

Townsend Jewellers can bring jewellery back to life through remaking and remodelling, careful repairs and cleaning.
